The Nigeria Audio-Visual Expo (NAVE) To Showcase New Products And Services In The Industry In Lagos


Nigeria Audio-Visual Expo (NAVE), the anticipated largest trade fair of the audiovisual industry in Nigeria, will bring together players in the industry at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria-Island, Lagos between 26–27 June 2019. The fair will showcase new products and services of both domestic and international players in the sector, and the interesting briefings and training sessions it offers will also provide a good foundation for sharing professional information.

The two-day event has been scheduled and will showcase a huge selection of existing and new products and services in the audiovisual industry. Both domestic and international importers, manufacturers and service providers in the audiovisual sector will showcase their existing and new products and services for visitors both for those who use audiovisual devices as tools or support for their operations and for those who are planning to buy audiovisual products or services. 

 It is expected that at the Nigeria Audio-Visual Expo (NAVE), visitors can explore the extensive offerings in the field from meeting existing and new technology to the acquisition of knowledge. The event has been packaged for the Nigerian market right down to the last details. It also offers the participating different products and brand manufacturers an important meeting place for the industry watchers to get engaged with who-is-who in the local and international industries.

The interesting offering of briefings, lectures and training sessions will shed light on future solutions in relation to both the audio-visual industry, technology and the systems operating at the ICT interface for brand networking. In addition to impressive show solutions, the event will also facilitate meetings with audio-visual technology manufacturers and providers for training.

“We focus on high-quality programme, which will further increase the importance of the event, and eventually create consumer empathy for the participants and players in the industry” says Olumide Ojo, CEO of O3 Communication, the events Management Company and sound equipment provider in Nigeria.

Interestingly, at the Nigeria Audio-Visual Expo (NAVE), the industry players and customers can also participate in an evening event where major players in the industry that have tremendously supported the growth of the industry will be awarded for the first time in Nigeria.

O3 Communication’s target is to raise the bar and do something different in this part of the world to make audio-visual expo more meaningful, rewarding for all players in the industry and also in plan is to award influential figures and distinguished gentlemen and ladies of the audiovisual industry. 

“Now, we believe the target will be met, as major players in the industry and influential figures and their impacts/contributions to the audio-visual industry will be awarded in six different categories in the evening event arranged during the fair,” says the Project Coordinators, Deborah Ebadan and Tajudeen Dunmoye.

The award categories are:  AV ACT – an act that has contributed significantly to cooperation in the industry. AV IMPLEMENTATION – an innovative implementation that stands out. AV INNOVATION – a new and exemplary solution or service. LIFE’S WORK IN THE AV INDUSTRY – a person whose career has left a footprint in the audiovisual industry. AV INSTRUCTOR – a person who has provided high-quality training in the audiovisual industry. The winners in the categories will be selected by an awards bureau from the board of the organizing committee.

The unassuming creative designer born Temitope Davidson-Enwere is undoubtedly a new gift to the fashion industry in Nigeria. The Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Osun State graduate of International Relations, reputed to be the first entrepreneurship citadel of learning in Nigeria, has just launched her new bespoke style outfit called Temi’s Cut.
The beautiful and petite Temitope in her twenties has worked with one of the top fashion house in Nigeria named Myra woman as the personal assistant to the founder. And, no wonder her passion for clothing and costumes are undying.
Checks showed that Temi's Cut is a very unique brand because of her style, designs and commitment to their rare costumes. More so, they don't just make clothing, they try as much as possible to get out costumes involved with what we are doing.
She also emphasized that she learnt how important it is for the customers to be involved in the service delivery apart from every other things she got to know about the business.  And during her four years program in the university she also took some classes in fashion design.
Findings revealed that she started Temi's Cut to create affordable yet sexy and classic ready to wear clothing for the average Nigerian woman.
We also gathered that are target clientele are students, working class, stay at home moms and fashion conscious individuals that wants to look.
Information has it that Temi’s Cut is very reliable and affordable with quality and well trained staff that has been the propelling force since she kicked off at her classy outfit in Abuja.
Soft spoken, Temitope disclosed that ‘as an International Relations graduate,  we were thought  about negotiations were each part go into a relationship that will benefit them  and how they have to meet each other at the middle  to be able to get something  from each other, and more so they have to maintain a peaceful  relationship.  So, also with my customers I have to meet them at the middle get to know what they need and try to help them in other to keep them to be interested in my brand.
No doubt her course of study will help her business to relate better with her clientele which has been one of the major issues with even the top designers that are making waves in the country now, divulged a close associate.
The industry watchers squealed that Temi’s Cut is the next big thing in the Nigeria fashion circle in the nearest future and she’s been penciled as one of the new entrants to beat and copy in this part of the world.

MorounRanti Ashabi  the Cultural Ambassador of Ile-Ife and naturally gifted Filmmaker cum Broadcaster Oladotun Taylor has finally raised the ante  beyond expectation to promote the goodness of His Imperial Majesty Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the paramount and respected traditional ruler in the entire Oduduwa race.

In the spirit of merry moment during the festive period last year December 2018 and beyond, the elegant MorounRanti and Oladotun the capable and trusted hands from the House of Oduduwa embarked on special royal assignment to meet and greet the high net-worth personalities in Nigeria on behalf of Oonirisa of the Yoruba Kingdom.
