A strong PDP supporter in Zamfara State known as Aminu Lecturer Kaura, call the attention of the former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar to please stop parading himself as the leader of APC in Zamfara.

"Lecturer made this public with Bell Media and Films correspondent, through a phone conversation on Sunday 24, January 2021 at about 3:48 pm.

"Aminu, reminds the former Governor that, the APC constitution only recognized Hajiya Sa'adiya Umar Faruk as the constitutionally APC leader in Zamfara State, therefore, failure to recognize Hajiya Sa'adiya will amount to the violation of APC constitution and gender robbery.

Similarly, "Lecturer wondered why Zamfara State APC should allowed Yari to be parading himself as the leader of the party, knowing fully well that the constitution prohibits him to do so.

Yes, it's very important to understand the fact that Hajiya Sa'adiya Umar Faruk is the serving Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with Yari as an ordinary party member, I believed Zamfara State APC should take note of this  "According to Aminu Lecturer.

It is true that the Zamfara State Government doled out vehicles to bandits.

It did surely happened but during the so called “ADDININ MU AL’UMMAR MU” administration.

It was on record that during Yari Administration the Zamfara state government appointed a bandit as Special Adviser (SA) and doled out 100 motorcycles to other bandits knowing fully that these notorious bloodthirsty syndicate uses motorcycles as a means of transport in raiding towns and villages. 

It was also on record that Toyota Hilux pickups were given to the bandit SA and another gang leader known as Kundu at that time. 

At the same time, the bandits representatives in government was the state publicity secretary of the then ruling party (APC) in the state, who eventually raised to the position of state zonal vice chairman and remained on that position until their recent dissolution by Mai Mala Buni led national caretaker committee.

So yes, it was on record that Zamfara State Government doled out vehicles to bandits but it was Yari’s not Matawalle’s administration.

Sahara Reporters are only reporting a story after it has long been stale.

WHY ZAMFARA STATE APC ARE SO JITTERY, SO CONFUSED, SO DEVASTATED ABOUT GOV. MATAWALLE CLAIM POLITICAL MOVE?

  

 

From a reasonable point of view, joining any political party is indeed the game of interest in respective of how long a politician has been in the other party.

 

The general public have been hearing so many unconfirmed series of reports about the possible decamping plans of His Excellency Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara state from PDP to the opposition, All Progressive Congress (APC) which is not yet officially confirmed from the two giants political party supporters, living the two party supporters in a higher degree of suspense with no option than to keep on watching and listening as the story-line unfolds.

 

However, if Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle finally decides to join the APC today, that means, he will automatically be the party leader in the state, in fact, he will become the final approval authority of the APC in the state of Zamfara.

 

At this point, it’s important for Ex. Governor Yari to note that, Zamfara State APC is not dedicated to a particular group of person(s), or individuals, also he should have it at the back of his mind that the National leadership of the APC will be very glad to receive any PDP governor in addition to their advantages against the 2023 general elections, because the national interest will, and must supersede Ex Governor Yari's interest as an individual.

 

Finally, I would like at this point wish to advise the good people of Zamfara State especially the APC, to please stop jeopardizing, and politicizing the ongoing operation wipe out banditry currently going on in the state, by the team of patriotic security personnels, and that the APC should please stop bringing Nigerian Army into Zamfara politics as we have seen it done by some educated illiterates APC members of the state, because “our hearts and prayers is always with the Nigerian Army who are paying the grave price in the process of maintaining the territorial integrity of our dear country, Nigeria.

Governor Matawalle in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Zailani Bappa, said; “The attention of Zamfara State Government has been drawn to a jaundiced crap called a story

Governor Matawalle in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Zailani Bappa, said; “The attention of Zamfara State Government has been drawn to a jaundiced crap called a story by Sahara Reporters where the medium alleged that His Excellency, Governor Bello Muhammad Matawallen has given 15 Hilux vans and ‘millions of naira’ to repentant bandits who in turn are now using the same vehicles to attack innocent communities in the state.”

“As the ethics of journalism provides, allegation such as this requires balancing from the accused before publication. However, either due to carelessness, Quackery or sheer mischief, the medium went ahead to publish this story, obviously sourced from the enemies of peace in the state without balancing from the side of the Government.”

“To disabuse the minds of those law abiding and patriotic Nigerians, Governor Bello Matawalle used from the meager resources of the state Government to purchase 200 Hilux vans in support of Security operatives in the state.”

“These vehicles were duly distributed to all security agencies in the state under the supervision of the Inspector-General of Police. The beneficiaries included the Military, the Police, the Customs and Excise, the Immigration Services, the NDLEA, the NSCDC, the FRSC, among others.”

“It is part of the State Government initiative for peace to settle down repentant bandits which the state Government is currently building a modern Rugga for them at Maradun with two more coming up in the near future. In fact, the state Government is is grateful to these so-called repentant bandits who are daily assisting the Government in negotiating with those who refuse to surrender and in apprehending those who refuse to surrender.”

“With all the programs of the Government towards peace in the state, at no time it gave vehicles or money to the so-called repentant bandits because there was no agreement to such. This is thus, a wicked allegation and simply a figment of the writers imagination or an intended machination to discredit the administration of His Excellency, Governor Bello Muhammad and undermine the peace effort in the state.”

“The state Government also calls on the Nigerian Military to require Sahara Reporters to substantiate their faceless and distinctly imaginary so-called Military officer source of this story because it borders on peace and is a matter of life and death of innocent citizens or face required discipline.”
