It
seems the government is not in control and everything has broken down,
concerning the way the Muslim fanatics are going around in Ilorin, Kwara
State to terrorize the indigenes who are not Muslims and converts in
the state.
This is a follow up report on the
attack on Christian Schools in Ilorin community area in the state that
once affected the family of Tajudeen Adegbite whose whereabouts are yet
to be confirmed.
We gathered that the "Islamic
fundamentalists" really dealt with many Christians years back and some
were macheted, their clothes torn and badly beaten in the communities
around Ilorin, during the hijab crisis.
The bad
news from our further investigation concerning the family of Adegbite
that ran away from the state, revealed that the aged mother of Tajudeen
Adegbite was badly attacked in her residence at 120, Akintola Sabo-Oke,
Ilorin, Kwara by the adamant fundamentalists that are still after the
lives of Tajudeen and his family members.
An
eye witness narrated that they came in a bus and all dressed in the
normal Muslim hijab and jalabia to ask for Alhaja Ayoka Adegbite who
happened to be the old mother of Olawale Tajudeen Adegbite.
She
welcomed them and after a few minutes, there was noise and a kind of
argument ensued from her flat upstairs, which made the neighbours come
out from their apartments and gathered to find out what was going on,
but to their surprise the unsuspected Jihadists have come to threaten
her to know the whereabouts of her son, Olawale Tajudeen.
One
of the concerned neighbours, said they even collected her phone to know
if she had been talking to her son and when they couldn't find his
contact they resulted in dragging the old woman, on the staircase, and
she fell down and collapsed. It was at that moment that it was done on
them that they had really hurt an aged woman that couldn't fight back
all because she was protecting her son and his family, whom they wanted to
kill by all means possible.
Mama was rushed to
the nearby local hospital called Oreife Clinic & Maternity, located
at No. 30, Saboline Ilorin, Kwara State but she later gave up the ghost
because of the severe injuries she sustained from the fall on the
staircase, disclosed one of the neighbours in tears.
The community was thrown into sorrow and tears when the news of her death was announced to the public.
The
big question many are asking now is, who are these Jihadists that are
after the lives of Olawale Tajudeen Adegbite and when did it become a
crime in Nigeria for any citizen to convert from one religion to
another?
Information passing round in the
community revealed that Olawale Tajudeen Adegbite, his wife, Toyin
Iretiola Adegbite and their three lovely children; Abdulrasheed
Omogbolahan, Morenikeji Mariam and Adams Marcelo are not safe anywhere
in the state or Nigeria because it's very obvious the Muslim
Fundamentalists are all out to kill them and make them a big lesson to
others that might want to abandon the Islam faith as a religion in that
part of the country.
We recalled that Olawale
Tajudeen Adegbite’s family are now born again Christians and they
believe that both Muslims and Christians serve the same God but it's
only the worship doctrine that's quite different. However, one religion
shouldn't be attacking the other in this generation where people are
more exposed to civilization and free to do
whatever they want as long as they are not against the law of the land.
Those
who should know from the investigations disclosed, that it is wise for
Olawale Tajudeen Adegbite to continue hiding from the die-hard Jihadists
that are all out to destroy him and his immediate family.
Further
findings revealed that the extremists will do everything within their
power to track them down because it's obvious they are only after their
lives from the way they treated his late aged mother who was thrown
down from the staircase in her home, despite the fact that she was a
practicing Muslim like them.
How many more people are they going to hurt just to get hold of Tajudeen Adegbite and his family members.
It
is high time the government in the state have to stand up for the
citizens as part of the oath to protect lives and properties in the state
like never before.
The people of
Ilorin can't continue to live in fear because of the Muslim
fundamentalists attacks on Christians. It is advisable to
do the needful in order to put a stop to the menace in the state for
peace and tranquility.
